Those of us who are India die hards, keep returning to India in spite of the noise, pollution, over crowding, theft, bad food (Delhi belly) bad rooms and various rips offs because after all is said and done we come back from India with priceless experiences which cannot be found anywhere else. India has made me what I am today and anyone who has not been there cannot top it.

After the new govt;s Namami Ganga project, there has been substantial improvement in cleaning, maintaining Ganga.. Also sewerage discharge in 180 towns along the Ganga is being diverted to STPs and only clean water will be discharged to Ganga. Even the religious practices are being advised to modify.But it takes time. The improvements done in just 3 years is wonderful. If same govt is there for another 5 years, Ganga will be very clean as they have the determination to execute ..

It's a majestic city with people and animals coexisting together. Let aside the filth on the streets, pollution, dirty river, Varanasi is a feeling . A showcase to great Hindu culture and rituals!!

I miss this place. May be this is the only place that I want to be back one day. I was there at Ganges Riverside almost everyday, morning and afternoon. The feeling is quite special, spiritual and the Ghats. May be I will get back here one day <3
