i think its funny that Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3 both have a "strongest" Pikmin but they're both strong in different ways. One breaks combat, one breaks puzzles and the sequencing of the game. If they ever mix, it would bring wrath to anything standing before it.

I actually did all of those puzzles the normal way! The puzzles are pretty fun, but Winged Pikmin are incredibly good for speedruns!

I genuinely didn’t know about that Garden of Hope puzzle, I just assumed you were supposed to use wings normally since it was a flukeweed, which only they can grab

There’s absolutely no problem with this. I actually think its good game design, letting players do stuff the easy way just by paying attention and using basic problem solving.

I did the pear skip on accident when I didn’t have any more bomb rocks, I was so confused when the next day the pear was outside the wall

YouTuber “Press A” also proved there is not a single fruit that requires blue Pikmin, using a variety of glitches, and of course, winged Pikmin.

the reason why the pear changes position is that the game thinks you have collected the pear but didn't bring it back yet so it puts the pear infront of the wall position just so the wall dosen't somehow glitch with collision still being there

It kinda saddened me to see you can't really cheese puzzles like this in pikmin 4 since they make them fly lower to the ground, winged pikmin were my favorite in 3 its sad but I understand why they did make some of the changes in 4.

i spent hours as a kid trying to figure out the starfruit challenge and never got it, then i played the remaster for the first time since i played the original and got really mad at the fact you could just lock onto the fruit in a specific spot-

and yes i did figure out the puzzle, woohoo.

Average Wing Pikmin W. Legit in Pikmin 4 there were a few moments I felt like I skipped a short puzzle to get a treasure. Good times.

The citrus fruit on the raise scales was too high for my winged pikmin to get to it on Wii U. Wingies had a ceiling yellows could sail through

Also you dont need to walk up the wall, you can stand on the bridge section and throw a captain up there
