A Vashon Ranger R7 aircraft with the registration number N349VR was significantly damaged in an accident that occurred at Cable Airport (CCB/KCCB) located in Upland, California. Fortunately, the only person on board, the pilot, did not sustain any injuries. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the pilot was performing touch and go maneuvers when, on short final, pilot mistakenly pulled the mixture. This error caused the airplane to land before the intended target and eventually collide with the airport fence.
