We are fortunate enough to be able to withstand the increases in prices while still saving and investing 45% income regularly. Being more conscious of energy and petrol usage though. I'm curious your thoughts on this - I believe that 'external' factors aren't impacting the UK quite as much as we are being told. With the government forking out over £70bn on furlough over Covid, do you not think it's a coincidence we have massive price increases which will help pay the gov's debt through VAT? Curious what people think

Thanks for the informative video. Unfortunately the advertised £400 governmental energy rebate for ALL households excludes certain categories of householder such as those on sub-meters, those living permanently in caravans, farmers with combined commercial & domestic electricity, and a number of others without their own domestic, independent electricity connection. I myself live as a full time resident on a chalet site with a combined electricity bill for 90 individual properties who each receive a sub-bill from the site management company. After contacting several MP's I have received confirmation that at present there are no concrete plans to increase eligibility to the £400 apart a vague response that "it's being looked into." A lot of the residents living in these wooden chalets are low income as renting a "bricks and mortar" house is not affordable for them. On the other hand, second home owners in my area (a locality with lots of second homes) will receive this payment twice which is a bitter pill to swallow! This is very disappointing & misleading since the "all housholds" line has been heavily marketed but the logistics of the system have not taken into account the circumstances of a variety of households. Anyway sorry about the long comment and thanks again for the video 😀

Great video guys, very informative. The rising cost of living for me means yes will and have to be more mindful with energy usage as well as being more mindful not to waste food. We will see where this £400 does for me as I am a person who hates the cold. I am a believer and put my trust in God and live by faith. I have been blessed that something always turns up for me.

I don’t no if covid was a knightmare or the cost of living
£400 just does not cut it …I don’t no why we ..as public are not making more noise about it
I think we all should be out side Downing Street, or sign up petition, or something else it’s not just electric and gas
Petrol
Milk
Bread
The list goes on …. We all talking about it amongst us ..and everyone is frustrated…. something serious needs to be done ….
But never the less thank u making this video I’m sure it’s helping loads of ppl
