Round 9
Tough round to score. Neither fighter landed many clean punches. Pacquiao was busier and landed more, but Marquez landed the best punches of the round, that swinging overhand right hand counter in the last minute at the end of that wild exchange and then a jab, left hook to the body, uppercut combo soon after. Pac responded with a combination of his own and a couple of good right hands to end the round, but that little burst by Marquez and the few punches he landed were the most memorable of the round. I'm giving it to Marquez because of that, but it's a round which could be scored a draw or scored either way as Pacquiao was outlanding him throughout the round despite Marquez having the best punches of the round.

I believe the senator won the first fight and 3rd fight. I believe marquez won the 2nd by close decision and I truly believe he won the 4th fight no controversy whatsoever. It was voted by Ring Magazine the KO OF THE DECADE

No way, Marquez landed at least three good combinations, he got some jabs in, and countered all of Pacquiao's left hand attempts with right hands on the face of Manny. Pacquiao's most significant punches were a short left and a good right. Round for Marquez.

Agreed 100%. I dunno about you but I scored the bout even going into the 12th and had a clear decisive 12th round win to pacquiao. To call this a robbery defies logic. In order for a robbery to take place, a fight that has a CLEAR winner goes to the CLEAR loser. All fighters were so close it was hard to call anything CLEAR, therefore there were no robberies. In fact, the JMM fans lucked out in the first fight cause one of the judges scored the first round incorrectly as 10-7 instead of 10-6

Isn't it great to know that the real winner of this fight showed everyone that his inevitable and clear jabs got him last nights victory. This succet, Paquiaoi, met the canvas and knew what it feels like to get the truth in your face.

according to CompuBox it was close but pacquiao still landed 38 more punches with only a 2% different connection rate than Marquez, and in a close fight i'd say the winner is the one who connected more punches in the entire fight, just my opinion, but in the end of the day you can believe whatever that fuck you want, life goes on, lol

pac got schooled by a pure technical boxer that has too much class for him. for people who believe pac won this round, just look, pac overstretching and falling into marquez's trap every time. and marquez keeping distance to decrease punishment and making pac open up. just dont understand how people say, manny was the aggressive one going forward so he won. for those who say that, they dont know what they are watching. cant distinguish a spectacular boxer when they see one.

marquez really showed some class here. he showed how superior a boxer he is and how pac is just pure hype and popularity. pacman was "aggressive" like a lot of people would say, but look what happens to him for being too aggressive, he gets schooled.
