Michalis GS (Michalis Giounanlis) is a music producer, remixer and DJ. Born in Athens, he studied piano and advanced theory. In 2010, he began writing his first songs and in 2013 Giorgos Laskaris’ album “Paraloga hatiria” was released by FM Records. Composition, orchestration and executive production belongs to him. Since 2019, he started producing electronic music and making remixes of Greek and international songs. His first official remix for the song “Pou Tha Se Vro” released in May 2020 by FM Records. His second official remix for the track “Omorfi Poli” by Mikis Theodorakis and Vassilis Saleas released in July 2020 by FM Records.

Born in Athens was once proposed to the audience by legendary Manos Hatzidakis whom he owes the beginning of his career.

Up to this day Yannis’ songs remain all time classic and most of them reached gold and platinum. He has written hundreds of hit songs for most of Greece’s top performers, topping million units, and justifying the fact that people consider him to be amongst the top Greek composers of our time.
He also composed instrumental music (international musical sensation), music for theatrical productions and a plethora of awarded adv jingles.
Yannis helped release and established several young talents for whom he wrote albums with major hits and commercial success.
His work has been dubbed audacious and innovative.
Yannis engagements range from Physics, electronics, engineering, medicine, poetry.. He adores a good sense of humor and the wisdom of the ordinary man. He dislikes current days saviors, music plagiarists and wannabees.
A believer that human stupidity should be penalized, Yannis often dreams of who he used to be, when he desired to become who he is today.
