I was a member of the Los Angeles Conservancy for a few years. It was an awesome experience. I still have the same heart!  recently I went through some tough times but I want to get back into the Conservancy. I still have the same love! Thank you Hillsman Wright.

It had such a beautiful neon marquee when it was the PIX !!! this bland brown and black is for the birds!!

Twistr54 part of the problem in making this video is that I didn't have many good photos of the place, so the "Peek" is more background/history/operations than a visual tour, which is what we normally do.

It is nearly impossible to make a single screen movie house profitable. That is why you see multi screen theatres in malls. And why he was using this venue for so many functions.

Too bad the video clip is all talk and no seeing the theatre, I totally support LAHTF and what they do, but shut up and show the theatre! I was there in 1981 and saw BAMBI-BAMBINO dubbed in Spanish, being a Spanish language theatre, it was pretty sharp then.
