ChatGPT Dethroned? Why Claude 2 Could Be The New King Of AI!

ChatGPT now has a serious competitor! Claude 2 just got released, and it has some big advantages over ChatGPT.

1. More recent Data!
ChatGPT’s knowledge is cut off in September 2021, while Claude’s knowledge goes up to early 2023
 
2. Longer Prompts!
Claude can analyze up to 100k tokens, which is around 75k words. You can literally upload the first Harry Potter book in a single prompt, ask questions about it. For comparison, ChatGPT can only analyze 32k tokens.

3. File Upload
You can upload multiple files in multiple formats and ask questions about them. In ChatGPT that is possible only for Plus Subscribers that have access to Code Interpreter.

4. Better at Coding
In a Python coding test, Claude scored 71.2% while ChatGPT scored 67%

5. Cheaper API
Claude’s API costs $11 per 1 million tokens for input, and $32 for completion. In comparison, ChatGPT's API costs 4-5x more.
 
6. Downsides
Claude is currently only available in the US and UK, but it can be accessed via VPN
