I'll give them this: Leprechaun's canon name is _Lubhdan_ (love-dan).

Lubhdan is the faerie king of Ulster featured in the 7th century _Echtra Fergusa mac Léite_ ("Adventures of Fergus Mac Leti"), the oldest surviving Irish prose to feature leprechauns. Back when they lived underwater in lakes or the sea, could turn into salmon and were called _Lúchorpáin_ (loock-ur-pan "little bodies")

Besides passing references to banshees, this is the sole reference to actual Irish myth in these movies.

I just adore the animations in this. All the disgusting leprechauns and each has a unique design. The jokes and the acting flowed so nicely with the animation and I also like how you matched the shading to the environment too. Didn’t have to do that but it’s such a nice touch. Also the jokes with the leprechauns felt natural like they were really there. Super funny I hope you do more of this kind of thing

Fun fact : The original Leprechaun was supposed to be more of a scary kid movie but cuz of the boom Child’s Play made, the studio decided to change it to a full horror and added more violence to it

Haven't watched through the ranking yet, but I really love Leprechaun Returns, it's not gonna win and awards for best movie, but inside of this franchise it's a solid sequel that did a lot with it's budget.
