Pixel Animation - Ocean Wave Loop
Показать описание
This is an assignment I made for my animation class. I got assigned the theme "pixel art" + "ocean wave", here is what I did...
This is my first time ever making pixel art, and pixel art is quite foreign to me, so it was challenging but fun making this one.
The music is made by me in Logic Pro. I wish I knew how to make chip-tone music but unfortunately I don’t, nor do I have time to figure out how to make that, so I just used the synthesizer in logic and did it in an hour. So yep it probably sounds cheezy but man I'm literally so busy TnT
How I made the animation:
Basically, I used Procreate and TV Paint to finish it. I drew the background in Procreate and imported the BG in TVP, then did the rough animation in TVP. Then I exported all the frames into Procreate again and drew the waves frame by frame, and then I exported all the frames(PNGs) into Premier Pro as an image sequence.
The problem with this process is when I import my rough animation into Procreate, since the canvas size was so small(254px X 144px), the image became very pixelated that I cannot keep track of the animation clearly. And that's why my animation looks a bit wonky here and there. I personally think this problem can be solved with patience...
