When I dealt at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. I dealt to him a few times (21 table) a very nice gentleman. I asked him what he did for a living making small talk. He told me he was a musician from the LA area played drums. So I asked what the name of his band was. He told me Incubus I was laughing inside. Cuz I love their music. So keep up the good work. Lol

Jose always does such a great job serving the song with his playing. He can flex and be funky but it always lines up with what's going on around him. He's seriously inspired my playing over the years and how to make the drums blend into the band instead of just thrashing.

In high school, I absolutely LOVED that verse groove (still do). I remember hearing it, going “whoa...” then rewinding it several times to get the count and patterns...realizing it was the same 6+8 as the intro with some killer snare work. Great stuff, Jose ✌️

This is the song that turned me on to Incubus a few years back. I had heard your music on the radio for years, but became a true fan after seeing this video and could not stop watching more! Got to see you in concert in 2017 and have been a fan ever since. One of the best live bands and there aren't that many I can say that about!!!
