If there is a debt ceiling, the people aren't running the debt up. It's the government!

All you need to know is it's time to immediately pass the American Transportation Act and hold Congress responsible for not doing it sooner.

The longer they put this off then the worst it’s going to be in the end.

When your outflow exceeds your inflow, your upkeep will be your downfall. “Only 4.9T” sounded so trivial and yet it was a record in tax revenues. The problem is most people can’t live within their means and Government is leading that charge.

Yellen says "bills", but she never says what they are... Why? You folks just said " bills " explain, please. Social security is not funded by government, its taxes paid to this fund. Government also owes social security 2.7 trillion, this is a " public debt" that by the 14- 4 constitutional amendment must be paid. But then again every presidents since 1983 administration has taken this funds money. Never paid it back. I consider this "theft"!! So when, if social security isnt paid, me and a few thousand other social security eligible recipients will be at the Treasury doors looking for our money!! Mx. Yellen, Congress, and Joe can look forward to meeting us!

Debt ceiling reduction solution: raise taxes to increase revenue

Imo only, this is theatrics. The date that the agreement has to be met, is a variable date…. Not necessarily May 30. It just is one side playing with insincerity against the other. It is crazy that those who We Elect to represent are acting like 2 year olds for drama. It is interesting that the President can keep throwing millions of 💰to Mr Z, without any problem, yet they worry about our debt limit. Where is the 💰coming from….a loan from CCP? Just IMO

This is the typical Democrat BS. Don't consider cutting spending or be more fiscally prudent just keep borrowing money.

Who is the government paying this "debt" to? This implies the government took out a loan. From who?
