I found a farmhouse VERY run down, in the country, with six acres. On the MLS, it shows that the annual property tax for this $350, 000 home, is $7000!!!! Isn't that 2%?? I can't imagine paying $7000 a year! :( Oh.. and this was Minnesota, NOT Ca.

There are good reasons why the populations in both states are shrinking. Ridiculous taxes for one!

The title of the video is "California to Minnesota" by Living in Minnesota. I thought she would be talking about how she was moving from Cali to MN? Instead it was she's a realtor for Bayside Homes in California...and isn't moving to Minnesota. Title is a little bit misleading, IMO.

Kind of a shame that Cali is financially insolvent. They have tourism, the movie industry, oil, major tech, and top shelf agriculture. California should be making so much money that in theory they should be able to pay for the whole nation. Instead, they have deficit spent themselves into the hole. If progressive ideologies don't work in a place like Cali which "has it all" then how can it work in states that don't have the same GDP potential? In theory, Cali should be a paradise. How did it come to this?

The terrain in Cali is also amazing; where else can you have all four seasons in one day?
