You can solve the bits wear; just buy PB Swiss bits or Makita bits. . . They don't wear, well, they definitely won't wear on a ratchet driver. The shaft slop is pretty normal for a heavily used ratchet driver. My go-to ratchet driver (Teng tools); I've had it for 12 years now, and the shaft moves about double what your one does. It still works great; it doesn't affect the driver at all.

A friend actually gave me one of these as a present and it’s the best ratcheting screwdriver I’ve ever used! I didn’t even realise it was a ltt I just recognised the thumbnail haha! Oh and thanks for the tip for the full size bits i didn’t know that 😂

Pretty hard to beat the Snap-On ratcheting screwdriver, and they have given me brand new replacements on 20+ year old screwdrivers that had worn out the ratcheting mechanism.

Little hint! Linus said on the last Wan show that the bits were going up in price in a month or so. So if you want them get em now!

70 usd for screwdriver is absolute madness.

I hate those types of drivers! Attaching the correct tip is a pita. Even if you find the correct tip the shaft is ALWAYS to fat to fit into the hole! Anything with receded holes like a laptop chassis it won't fit. I would recommend Wiha or Wera if you're looking for quality drivers.

Id like to support LTT, but 70 is just too much for a screw driver

I thought that Linus was purged and humiliated...

$70 and it's not even electronic? Lol I'd suggest getting the wowstick 1F+ electric lithium ion precision screwdriver it comes with 69 bits and has a built in shadow less flash light for about $60
