A toddler from the 19th century would really appreciate M&Ms. That was a nice touch. Thank you for telling this family’s story.

They must have planted the bush in the cradle and its roots pushed the cradle apart. People used to plant woody perennials over graves to make living monuments. Over time, untended bushes and trees take over and reclaim areas, but I like the old practice anyway.
A couple of decades ago, our municipal cemetery banned the use of bushes and trees on gravesites because it made it too hard to tend the lawns. They even removed some of the old bushes, but did no conservation of the stones. We cleaned things up near our loved ones memorials. We trimmed back the turf around sunken stones, and washed the surfaces... But would never have dreamed of digging out and resetting the stones.
Nice work.

As someone who’s had a baby pass away, I want to thank you. You honored a little one who never had a chance to live, who hasn’t even existed as a memory since his parents died. By putting his gravestone back up, he lives, if just for a moment, in the thoughts of all who’ve watched your video and will pass his grave; hopefully for generations to come.

Can we respect this guy pls? He cleaned the grave as gently and as carefully as he could to make sure it wouldn't ruin it, and talked about the life of the child. That is respectful grave cleaning unlike SOMEBODY

Edit: plz stop liking this it's actually flooding my notifications

That kid having M&M’s for this first time makes this man not only grave fixer, garden planter, but Willy Wonka in my mind.

I find it very heartwarming that people will tend to the graves of people they've never met and can never have known.

A cradle as a headstone monument is beautiful. You can tell that child was wanted.

Thank you for doing this, brother. A lot of people might think that cleaning and renovating a graveyard is a useless job. But in fact, what you're doing is priceless !!!

I love how he is actually being respectful and using appropriate tools on the stone. Not only that, but he is sharing with us the story of this person, which is really kind. :)❤

God bless you. My daughter just lost her baby girl at 28 weeks gestation. We are all just devastated. Losing a child is the hardest thing ever to go thru. Thank you for restoring this baby’s cradle. Again God bless you and thank you ❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you for restoring this to the way it ought to be. Shame on the cemetery for letting it go. A baby would've loved the candy. Thank you again for doing right by this baby

Thank you for the restoration of this monument to this child and the love of his parents. Planting the flowers was lovely. As a parent who lost a baby, the package of M&Ms was the hardest. It gave the life of the 2 year old the immediacy of the lives of all our children.
