“What’s he gonna do without having Kevin there to advise him on a regular basis,” Mr Falinski told Sky News Australia

“I suppose he’ll just have to learn to take phone calls at two or three am, in the morning.”

Reminder: Rudd was shafted by his own party, ate earwax, resigned in tears, achieved nothing of real meaning and has spent the last decade whining on social media about being inadequate. No wonder the ALP value him.

I had the same sinking gut feeling when Albanese was appointed PM as when Rudd was appointed. Just a feeling that their big / bold ideas were going to end up being nothing more than a huge pile of steaming horse crap.

Rupert Murdoch will be spitting chips. Rudd has been a staunch critic of the Murdoch propaganda machine. Sky News attempts at assassinating Rudd's character are pathetic. He's an obvious and excellent choice for ambassador.
