I, like so many others grew up listening to amazing bands around late eighties early nineties, our teenage years of dreamy hedonistic sun drenched days that never seemed to end. Ride encapsulated these thoughts at the time so perfectly and for me I’m so grateful to them for producing these wonderful sounds . Chrome waves has to be in my all time top ten from that era. One of the best bands of all time !!!

Absolutely brilliant! Going Blank Again is undoubtedly my favourite Ride album (PLEASE do a UK tour of this like you did for Nowhere!) and this song along with OX4 are two of the most gorgeous songs ever, just pull on the heart strings and soul!

I started drums at 21 back in the day when ride where at there peak, I’m 46 now and still dip into ride/Loz for influence..this is a real modern tech treat..if only they had this kinda thing back in the day..all the hrs spent watching vhs/listening to vinyl/cds and and cassette trying to learn loz’ drumming..me and me mate dropped acid 1 time and spent the whole night replaying the today forever vhs trying to learn guitar parts on acid..when the sun rose we quickly realised we w a million miles away from sounding like em..another time speedin off me nut I got backstage at Leeds with lyrics I wrote keen to find out what the band thought of em..Andy bell said they w grt and reminded him of Townsend..I wernt into the who at that point so was just happy Andy bell approved..not long after that I got into the who and recalled Andy bell saying that to me..😂😂grt days and plenny more present and future from the boys to come now I’m sure..I still write choons for meself and stick em on soundcloud for safe keeping and these lads have always been 1 of my influences..love em!
