When I watch Marcin play, I am struck by the innate grace of his movements. In my life, I have never had that kind or connection or confidence. I watch him in wonder. If I could go back 50 years and start again, I would hope to have a teacher who could help me unlock a fraction of that connection in myself. Thank you for doing a deep dive into exactly the kind of things I have been pondering about his playing.

Someone who is all in like that and pulls it off is Erick Henderson. He absolutely shreds everything he plays from classical to rock.

I think they are doing all of those movements for themselves, and that's why it looks real.

Notice that his left arm move before the hand. That’s the correct use of the arm. You need to present the finger nearest the touch. And you have a very short time to relax.
