Today on the podcast we’re going to close out 2024 with some predictions about 2025.

Here’s where we stand. President-elect Trump won with under 50% of the national vote a but a large electoral college victory. Congress is also (narrowly) in control of the Republicans, and catching a Democratic Party in disarray. That’s the good news for Trump.

However - some of the unknowns that he’ll be meeting is the potential of a slowing economy, multiple international crises, and the very real challenge of delivering on cutting spending which involves cutting programs that people support and benefit from. Further, the reality of the rigidity and structure of government, agencies and constituencies may be harder to move than the incoming administration believes.

So with these conditions, what might we expect in the new year?
