I don’t see it mentioned anywhere so I’m probably alone on this, but Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey burrowed its way into my brain as a child and has always remained. I think that song, more than most, is the one which shaped my taste in music. Listening to it as an adult, I recognize so many elements in it which I enjoy in other music.
