when you close your eyes, you can feel the song for some reason, it's a mixture of nostalgia, happiness, wholesomeness, sadness, epic, orchestral, childhood music.

I just found out how it got "canceled". I am a 23 year old boy, I had no particular reasons to feel represented in this work, but from the first episode I loved and respected it. Each episode brought me closer to the characters, their motivations, their fears and their love. My heart skipped a beat when I learned that the author's original plans cannot be fulfilled, it's a terrible thing in the art world. I know I cannot change things, and I know that there are decisions made at the top that will probably not be able to be changed, but if you are reading this comment, if you too, like me, have this story at heart and want to respect the intellectual will of the author, help me spread a message of love towards the series, just as Owl House has spread its message of love that perhaps has not been fully understood. Thanks Dana Terrace, your sadness at missing the chance to tell your story your way is the sadness of all of us.

Edit: can we also take a Moment to really appreciate how, even under pressure and without the time she wanted, Dana is licterally killing it with the new season? I saw the first episode and it was simply PERFECT. If only we could see more of that world.

Ever since Gravity Falls ended i have been searching for a cartoon that gives me the same feeling like Gravity Falls did. The Owl House gives me the same feeling! Especially the ending! This feels familiar. THis feels like home.

I love the symbolism in Hunter's small frame in the season 2 outro - whilst Belos is holding his mask back onto his face, Hunter seems to be taking his down. This is comparing how although Hunter looks up to Belos, he's not exactly like him - instead of just following what he's always known (aka keeping his mask), he's trying to explore the unknown and discover how much more there is to life.
