I relate to this character SO MUCH. One of my closest friend backstabbed me in front of my other friends about my teeth in a group call and i left because i was so embarrassed and disappointed. But I did got a boyfriend and it's the guy i liked in middle school since 7th grade. he told me that my smile is beautiful, no one ever told me that before not even my family. He's really sweet and i'm really grateful to have him :D

This is perhaps one of the best slice of life anime movies. The beauty in poems! Both Cherry and Smile having insecurities but those insecurities HELP them get together (bc people with flaws seem more approachable as they are both imperfect). The grandpa's story was also awesome. I cried watching it, especially the confession part. That's the perhaps the only public confession people loved this much

This pandemic felt like a gift in disguise since people have to wear masks which made me feel relief, i man cover my insecurity without being a weirdo. Up until now, i still feel the same, and this anime is just a gift from the gods✨

I was so confident last summer, but now my teeth have changed again, arguably for the better, but watching your face and smile change every month is incredibly hard.
