1. Armored Destroyer - you can't clear campaign without. Unless you're talking lvl 80 collection.
2~3. CV - makes campaign much more easier, great for whale too but not too great for farmers to focus on.
3~2. Guided Missile - told to be good at pretty much anything but clearing campaign is a big deal.
4. AA Destroyer - somehow bugged that it can shoot multiple targets when garrisoned. Very good against campaign carriers because those planes take a lot of damage. Very good in general and safe to use for farmers who can't afford to buy countless of reserves. You just need to stay away from enemy firing range and shoot every planes flying to your teammates.
5. AntiSub Frigate - very niche unit, you only use it when you have to deal against campaign sub, but i haven't had that problem, yet.
6. Sub - it is difficult to capitalize Sub when you have to work on Armored Destroyer FIRST. But it's very fun and hard to deal against in real fight.

Definitely different needs between campaign and P2P, For me, the carrier and sub weaknesses against bases makes them undesirable in C4. Assuming it's easiest to have one from each camp leveled up for now, I prefer the AA v. Anti-sub for Vanguard since it will toast those carrier planes quickly, then the other two camps are off course the destroyer and cruiser, in my opinion. I think they need to adjust the CV a bit. If you're going to make it so vulnerable and it's planes can die quickly, add another hex to its range and give it better anti-sub defense. Then it will force the others to deal with it, otherwise it can kind of be ignored in many cases as it kills itself basically. In my opinion.

Submarines are fun but need to be a group to end an engagement hard and fast then hide, reposition and reengage. But for b2b, missile destroyer and armored destroyer is a must.

Carrier is great on defensive when used right, you can jump out with them and snipe units and pull back and repeat, eats ships.

I do feel on defense it helps against Armored destroyers when garrisoned in base.

As for Anti air, in our L4 a lot of players were using it to protect their fleets against other Missile destroyers.

One player was running a 6mil Frigate and pain was it a pain to fight, I feel they each have their benefits when used in the right conditions

We had almost no subs in our c4. Most used Combo was Armored Destroyer/Missile Destroyer/Anti Aircraft. I would say 70% of players had this Combo. Anti Aircraft is pretty decent.

My strongest is my AA destroyer which works wonders since I have had lots of enemy fleets attack my base and generally, they also bring carriers with them, and the planes get ripped apart and it attacks the ships at the same time, This is followed by my guided missile and then my carrier. Also my choice for this was because of the camp bonus

ACs are mostly used in my L4. People just clearing out bases with like 12 of them easily
too Op in my opinion

Got lucky with a gold++ slot 2 bp early one so pushed AD on my main, and they are a beast, not even awakened officers and it is tough to kill, will see if they stick with the 7.1 format in silver 1 next time round, dunno if navy is worth distracting from land/air yet, maps don't give enough navy only rewards, and no navy c3 yet...so why bother...
