It never ceases to amaze me how unstable and "bad" the physics engines are in Godot.

I literally can't click the pins in Godot 3.5 no matter what. So when I import a mesh to use for soft body, I manually input my 'pinned_points' by getting the vertex index numbers directly from Blender(to anyone reading, you can google how to see a vertice's index number, it's pretty easy). Just note, that the 'pinned_points' array in Godot 3.5 only goes to 19, so keep that in mind with whatever mesh you're using.

I don't have blender and when I search for a 3d circle nothing works can I have a 3d circle

godot 4 is known to have unrealistic built-in physics. godot-jolt can fix this, but i don't think there's a soft body from it yet

why softbody is so bad in godot 4 tho? If in godot 3 it was so good?
