Good comparison. 95% of grounds care guys I see use Stihl. I "still" use Echo because their engines are of the old-school style 2-stroke design. I know how to work on them. IMHO, Stihl's build quality is slightly better than Echo, yet I usually get 10 seasons out of a piece of Echo equipment before it shows signs of major trouble.

damn you bought for 330, now its 419. I had the 2 stroke km94, pretty beat now and im shopping for a replacement. Im thinking a bout the 111.

I know u said u would prefer the 131r, but does the 111 still cut with the extension shaft + hedge trimmer and chainsaw? It just cuts slower? Thanks!!! I am looking into buying a kombi soon!

Echo has a newer one so your comparing a newer model sthil 2018 to an older model 2016 Echo that they dont make any more

Not to bash your stihl but on our company echos cut way more crisp and tight then stihl.
