NASA Operation IceBridge Larsen D Ice Shelf 2

The NASA DC-8 Airborne Laboratory conducts a low-altitude land ice survey over the Larsen D Ice Shelf during the Operation IceBridge mission over Antarctica 10-18-2014.

Still imagery for this sequence was captured in 30 second intervals as the DC-8 flew 1,500 feet above the ice.

The Larsen D flight was a condensed version of three missions designed for this area for the 2012 Operation IceBridge campaign but never flown.
