🏁🏎️🏁 G’day mate, great video 👍🏻 I’ve just purchased ACC and a basic sim steering wheel & pedals. I’m only getting into gaming at the ripe ol age of 60 👀. This game looks like it will be a lot of fun. New Subscriber here. Cheers from Western Australia 🇦🇺✌🏻

I thought the aggression levels only affect how close the AI will drive side by side with other drivers. If set to low the AI will be too scared to pass you. If set high/max the AI will pass you at any given opportunity. The aggression levels do not affect how fast the AI drives.

I'll be honest from my experience dating back to PC2 aggression has never done what it sounds like it's supposed to do. In PC2 all it did was make the AI faster regardless of their actual difficulty setting. It was like that when AMS2 first released, but it now feels like it just doesn't do anything. I've been told many times on the forums what the aggression setting does from the developers, but IMO it just doesn't do what they say it is supposed to.

So in your medium AI file, did you change all the values to .5 or just the aggression?

Man, that first part really reminds me of how many times I've seen AI lose half their car and continue as if it were no big deal. Really wish they'd just retire if they take a good bit of damage, particularly if they're not close to the pits. I know if I take about 30% suspension damage, it's basically impossible to keep the car straight, but the AI will just keep going just at a bit slower pace.
