DJI Mini 2 | First Flights in 4K

This is 4K footage from my very first flights with the new DJI Mini 2. Everything was shot at 4K @ 30fps. The footage was shot using manual exposure and manual white balance. Edited in Final Cut Pro X, *very* minor corrections were made to some of the clips when I didn’t get my exposure or white balance quite right. No ND or polarizing filters were used. This is a good sampling of clips and a good indication of what you can expect out of this little wonder. Thanks for watching!

Steve you’re always so talented with choosing a conglomeration of shots that are all very different yet work so well together.
I’d love a long form video some time where you could show the moments as you experience them when you get an idea for a shot and then how you put them all together. You’re one of the best IMO for piecing together cohesive shots.

Congrats on getting the Mini 2, it really is major upgrade over the Mini 1. Nice test flight and you already captured some wonderful video. Thanks for braving the elements out there in the field. DJI always releases these drones that are perfect for summer, exactly when the weather is starting to turn into winter. Great review Steve.

For some reason some of your latest videos have slipped past me and I found this through a search on your name so I’ve hit the bell. Kudos to you out flying in that cold. . Re the video. I was a little unsure of its dynamic range but then the shots of the snow on the ground and woods blew those reservations away. The footage also had very smooth paths. I’d love to hear your thoughts on its performance in relation to your first Mini and your good old trusty Spark.
