I tried Arnold's crazy routine in my early 20's (natty) and followed it to the letter... I ate 6x a day and slept 8 hours a night with 1 hour naps during the day... after 3 weeks I was totally burned out.
Before he died Ed Corney told me they did lots of sets, but Arnold exaggerated a LOT. If they came back for a 2nd workout it was something that required much less energy like calves, abs, forearms or rear delts. Also, Arnold took 2x the amount of drugs of what other guys were taking back then, which is basically nothing compared to pro BBers of today.

This is advice from the 70s when knowledge on bodybuilding, supplements and nutrition was vastly limited compared to today. Guys back then wouldn’t have made their names without their insane genetics. They would be extraordinary in today’s age with today’s standards and knowledge.

Arnold was famous for misleading people and exaggerating. He claimed he took 3 dbol a day, when dieting for the show, more recently he's changed that to 3 dbol a day and 150mg test a week. BS.
