Andrew Yang: 'The American Dream is dying by the numbers'

The ten candidates who made the cut for the third Democratic presidential debate include nine politicians -- and Andrew Yang. The 44-year-old entrepreneur, who made millions running a test prep company, had zero political experience. His early success has surprised almost everyone, except Yang himself. In a “CBS This Morning” broadcast exclusive, “CBS This Morning” co-host Anthony Mason met up with Yang at his campaign headquarters in New York City to discuss his plans for the 2020 election.

All you need to know about Yang: I read an interesting article that criticized some of Yang's policies constructively. Do you know what Yang did? He wrote back, in a very friendly and professional way, addressing the criticisms, showing complete respect for the author, offering clarification and conceding points on where he could change some of his ideas. The author responded, calling him sincere and a genuinely good guy. That's what Yang is: he's not a politician or a phony, but someone who actually is running for the right reasons.
