Today's song is a request from my American friend, Ken Shuttlesworth.
There is a fiddle tune with the same name, but the tune for this song was written by Pete St John especially for a folk group from Waterford called "The Drops of Brandy". Ken, however directed me to a version recorded by Mick Comerford.
This is my own interpretation of the song.
