“Just don’t forget to unlace, and clock out at the end of the day”. I love that. I’m not a SAHM but I will soon be a working mom as I’m about to deliver. It too easy to get caught up in all the chores and feeling overwhelmed/stressed over the never ending duties.

#3 💖 "Everyday is worth showing up for"...I absolutely LOVE how you phrase that!! And being a SAHM IS a real job. Show up for you, for your kids, for your hubs, for your life. It's all worth it every day. Even if you're single with no kids...show up for YOU because you're worth showing up for too!! We all are!! Thank you for the reminder Mamacita!! 💜💜💜

I was a sahm for 18 years and I can say you have the right attitude to be successful and that really helps your husband and kids to treasure you for all you do.

I’m not even a mom but these things help me so much too! Especially getting dressed every day, even if I’m just going from pajamas to sweatpants, it helps me shift mentally into “work mode”!

I used to do a modified flylady routine and it was great. I would do a quick wipe down of a bathroom first thing, and then unload my dishwasher before I sat down for coffee and breakfast.

Sometimes I would even start a load of laundry .

Those are like the three biggest task, and it always made me feel accomplished that I’d already gotten something done, and normally was enough motivation to continue, and do something else.

Love the no scrolling before breakfast. I’m going to try that, focus more on getting the day going with my 4 kids!

I agree 100% I started my healing journey 7 years ago and I stopped scrolling in the morning I did not pick up my phone to get on any type of social media until my morning duties were done my son was off to school and I had done my morning chores.. it made the biggest of difference, are mornings were drama-free and more positive and happy and calm.. also everything that you spoke about is what helps with my mental health...❤❤

Love these! I had depression from the time my daughter was six months to almost four. There were whole days I never got either of us dressed. A big change when I started to make sure we at least got changed in the morning.

Also if anyone knocks at the door it’s so much nicer not to have to panic and be ready to put your best foot forward.

Oooh the shoes tip is a good one. I hurt my foot really badly doing heavy duty housework barefooted. Took almost 2 months to get better and one of those weeks I couldn't walk at all. Support the feets people.

i was a stay at home mom for 7 years before i started working. having a routine and making it feel like work honestly makes it feel more rewarding at the end of the day. now that school is starting soon getting a routine back is helping mentally getting things back in order !!

As a SAHM, I really appreciated hearing #3 & the "unlacing" from #5. I do the rest but I'm terrible at those and it shows. Thanks for this very cheerful reminder😊
