The University of Iowa's Caitlin Clark is bringing women's college basketball to the forefront. The women's NCAA tournament viewership is shattering records, all thanks to her. Of course, this is not without some sort of controversy. She's an objectively good player, but the internet is debating whether or not she would make it in the NBA. Let's talk about it.

My daughter is 10 years old and is almost 5'9", her mother is 6' tall, and I her father is 6'8". Needless to say basketball is our game. Now I actually have hope that my baby might one day play. Hopefully this momentum going!

I am a father of a daughter who played basketball. I would want my daughter to see Caitlin Clark, there are role models that I would like to expose her to.

Caitlin Clark is the obvious headliner of this explosion of Womens basketball, but this season was a perfect mix to up the ratings. Angel Reese drama, South Carolina dominating, Paige Bueckers is back (UConn womens averaged more viewers then the Uconn men for their respective elite eight game), and Caitlin Clark at the front of it. All the different storylines have contributed to this record breaking season. That and its been relatively apolitical. Its just fun sports for once

Caitlin's parents go to my church, they're great people

Caitlin Clark can shoot better than a few men’s players, that’s what makes watching her actually tempting.

The player has done the impossible. She's made me be vaguely interested in women's college basketball. She is straight cold-blooded out there. Just stroking bombs from the cheap seats and dropping dimes like Bird. She's a legend. God bless her.

She's from a sub-urban family. She loves to play basketball and is a fantastic athlete. She's got soooo good at it that she's turning heads of people who were not initially interested in it. And she's taking the world by storm. Add to that, she has a good character. These are the reasons that make her great. This is what everyone should strive for. Relentless hard work! You don't have to get famous by shoving your agenda down everyone's throat. Achieve things by struggling and working hard.

I’m fine with people covering women’s basketball, it’s the comparison between men’s and women’s basketball.

You got to remember you’re watching the final games of CC. Every game could be her last it helps push ratings. She a once in a generation talent and deserves all the attention.

It's like that old Tracy Chapman song - 'gimme one reason to stay here, and I'll turn right back around'. Well now there's a reason: Caitlin Clark. She's like granddaughter of Larry Bird, and it's an awesome thing to watch.

As an Iowan. Who also couldn't care less about sports..
CC has become a household name, and I've watched more basketball in the last year, than my entire life 😅
Proud of her both on and off the court. Lets go Hawkeyes!!!

I saw them play Rutgers women this year...half the stadium were women. I met three who played bb in the 60'-70's and they were so proud.

We don't have gendered sports. We have women's leagues and an open league that we call a men's league. The men's professional sports have no gender rules for a reason, the best players will make it

I am an Iowa alumni and graduated from the same college CC went to. I have stood and walked on the same ground she has tons of times. I have never been so proud. Not only that, I went and saw her in person hit the 3000 point milestone.
