I legitimately don't understand people calling this a "kid's game" or "NFS going for the tik-tok/Fortnite/gen z crowd" like it always hasn't been? NFS a kid's racing arcade game, you can't be mad because it's continuing to do the same it has been for 30 years. The older beloved black box games did the exact same thing, you loved them as a kid and kids will love this game the same way. You can't objectively say they were more adult oriented than Heat was in terms of story or gameplay or anything.

i feel like criterion just took a lot of elements from heat that ghost left behind. :/
this concept had a lot of potential in my eyes, so i lowkey expected more from them, as a company who was very successful with the hp 2010 title.
