How to Setup Your Ascent Adjustable Base

Step by step support to setting up your new Ascent Adjustable Base.

Use the Sitting preset to get work done from the comfort of bed. Give Zero-Gravity a try for a near-weightless feel. Select Anti-Snoring mode to quiet your partner. Once you experience all that an adjustable base has to offer, you’ll never go back to your old bed frame.

Setting Up Your Ascent Power Base:
1. Use two people and bring box to bedroom.
2. Remove the bed base from the box and unfold so that the bottom is facing up.
3. Locate and hand tighten the legs to the base in all four corners. (If installing a king please refer to the manual pages 19-24 at this step.)
4. Connect the cables.
5. Uncoil input cord and plug into power supply.
6. Flip the base over and move into final place (Be careful not to drag rest or put pressure on the legs while bed may be on its side as you may damage the legs).
7. Insert the power cord into power supply.
8. Plug in the power cord into an outlet (A surge protector is recommended but not included).
9. Install Mattress retainer bar into the inserts at the foot of the base.
10. Locate remote and load 3 AAA batteries.
11. Press head and feet up and down buttons to verify proper setup and function. For troubleshooting your remote or other issues please refer to the owners manual.
12. Return bed to flat position.
13. Place your new Purple mattress onto your base and enjoy!

The king size base doesn't even have correct directions and is missing parts! You need to have a separate version detailing it. What a mistake buying from this crap company.

I bought into the advertising claims. (BUYER tried the mattresses at the stores, and honestly, neither my wife nor kids were impressed. Then, I purchased the seat cushion since I work long hours at my desk. I thought, Purple seems like a company that stands behind its products (and claims).
