Obama's abuse of Scripture

I remember when he first said this. I saw a lot of people nod their heads in agreement; they thought it was a rather brilliant way of dealing with a controversial issue in our culture. I saw at least a few who were struck by how twisted Obama's line of reasoning was. In the name of Christ he was promoting what Christ would reject as against God's will and design.

I think this quote is from Mike and it always stuck with me. It’s just “There’s no such thing as an ‘obscure’ Bible passage.” Because it’s like… if it’s in the Bible, it’s God’s word.

Judging is not the same as lovingly correcting someone from a dangerous or sinful behavior. Also, I’ve heard somewhere before that Obama wasn’t really a Christian but he used the Christian ticket to get more votes, so obviously we shouldn’t take his opinion as the standard for theology.
