I added the TRD lift to my 2022 OFF Road and it will work just fine for me. Don't plan on getting bigger tires just like the extra height for seeing over cars. I was going to get TRD pro heritage grill anyways and don't like most aftermarket unless it's a big improvement. It's also nice knowing that the TSS is recalibrated correctly. The dealership didn't even blink an eye when I told them that I'd sign for them to leave the fog lamps in. I was told that they leave them in and didn't have to sign. I think that a two-inch lift still looks good with stock tires any thing bigger needs to get the rims and tires to go along with the lift. Was not cheep but for resale value/ what am I saying it's not for sale I'm keeping it for life!!

It was already installed on mine when I bought it new, along with a trd skid plate. Whole deal showed as a 2500.00 option on a side sticker

Something that dilutes the cost of the TRD factory lift is the TRD Pro like grill. That alone by itself sells for $400. The reason they include it with the kit, is because it allows proper alignment of the TSS and adaptive cruise control sensors to insure they work exactly as intended. Overall, it is still subjective at the end of the day.

I’m going back and forth but decided on the lift kit. It’s coming out to the same as bilsteim 5100 setup with aal. Plus I want the grill anyway.

Les Schwab has a Tacoma lift in my area for 1850.00 bilstein 6120 for the front and 5100 for the back. 2/1 or 3/2 lift can’t remember

Every post comment I've seen regarding the factory lift stated you can do better for less money. Curious of what your intentions are regarding the post lift/wheels/tires.

My decision is simple. I'm keeping my tacoma as is. Don't need any lift kit. I always ask myself this question...do I need it or do I want it? I'm not spending a few grand for a want.

The trd lift kit is so lame. Numerous people buy the pro and get rid of the trd suspension lol😅

When ever you lift your truck my advice is to get after market upper control arms and get a new alignment.

Screw that lift kit. You should turn that Tacoma into a squatted truck. Put an 18" lift kit in the front and a 6" lowering kit in the rear. Put some big ass ugly chrome hoops on it along with chrome running boards, bumpers, and chrome badges. You would look bad ass! Sorry, more like a dumb ass.

Yeah, I'd stay away from the TRD lift kit. Like you said, you can do better for the money... 💰 🤑 💸

Just curious. Why lift it? You aren't an off-road kinda guy, so are you going for a different look? If it's content for the channel that's a pretty expensive way to get it. Some other reason?
