I am American and no jet we have ever produced has afterburners like that. About the only thing that could beat that is a Saturn V or the space shuttle. This thing makes an F-15's reheat look like a Bic lighter.

Just look at those massive afterburner plumes extending nearly 20m behind the engines. Sadly the camera and photographic conditions prevented us from seeing Mach diamonds forming in those afterburner plumes.
