Here's a key thing to know if you are live streaming video games on Twitch and or YouTube is to play a game that's getting a lot of traction and buzz. If it's a game that no one is playing or if the game is 5 or 10 years older, with the exception of GTA v, you will not get the audience and subscribers to watch your content. More importantly, you will not monetize straight away.

thank you for the advice. I can tell you've been through it and I'm also going through it. I wanted to know how I can start making some cash on the side, how I can integrate gaming into my family, my lifestyle, etc. because gaming is what I love to do on my free time, why not do it also on my "paid" time, right?
