Yeah, the defrosting surface where it needs to be turned every 6-7 minutes (guessing for good results), nope, i'm going to put my meat out on a plate on the bench for a few hours, or in the fridge a day or so before. I'm lazy, I don't want to get up so often to turn meat that I'm not acutally cooking.

Defrost on just 45mins?! That is just fast defrosting on the counter work... Also it's safer to do it in water or in the fridge.
