Показать описание
Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

What went wrong with the Captain here? This boat clearly took on too much water!

That scout at about the 7 minute mark just sliced through the waves. It was really graceful.

The 'Scout' captain was the only one that knew engine trim exists. Blows my mind watching the majority hit decent swells head on with bow down.

The people surfing and the wildlife at the end of the video really highlight the importance of why keeping the ocean clean is so important.

Sweet video. Awesome drone action too. Everytime I take off from Opa Locka airport we usually fly over the inlet. I'm always looking for the boats.

Every captain should know when is slack tide times are. For that inlet smaller boats should be crossed on slack tide. Knowing your tides is a must on any waterways that is effected but the moon cycle.. The captain of that boat has a lot to learn how the seas work. I've been saying this on boatzone for a while that ever boat operator must do a course on boating, know your rules and know your tides.

I watch these videos and I say to myself where are they going. Outside of the entrance is nothing but white caps.

Scout boat appears to have alot of water in the bilge. Evident when the boat rolls side to side even though the passengers are centered.

Very close to disaster, important safety lessons here about the effect of all that water on board that seriously affected stability

That first boat almost sank. The captain appeared inexperienced and the boat was overloaded. That was evident every time someone moved and it would lean way over. He needs to take the captain course to learn how to handle that boat.

At least captain made all kids wear life jackets. That’s a good sign. Also he turned around and came back in when things weren’t looking right. Seems like a good decision

That Key West came down nicely off the back of those waves. Didn't see much jostling around at all.

That Axopar was magnificent. Cut the waves like nothing.
