It’s very evident here that she is far more talented even beyond this, that she can belt like so many other singers can. But she doesn’t need to. There’s no point. So she doesn’t. Cinderella wearing a pair of running shoes is the most practical and realistic thing she has ever done. She must have learned her lesson from losing her shoes to getting stuck on the steps.

On the other hand, this is so beautiful. What a wonderful Cinderella Ms. Philippa is!

This is so incredible. Because obviously casual fans know she killed it as Eliza in Hamilton. But also she originated that role so it’s more Tailored to her strengths. That being said, Sanheim is a whole different matter. When you’re singing a classic, the expectations are high and the music is difficult, so to come in and make a piece like this sound effortless shows just how talented she truly is . And if you don’t know, now you know.
