This channel gives me "Barely Sociable" and "Lemmino" vibes. Keep up the extraordinary work.

It seems like Amelia's mind was completely set on either completing the trip or die trying. She had way too much flight experience not to notice the red flags mounting up from the very beginning. Whether the failed take off in Honolulu was her fault or the plane's, I can imagine it was still a hit to her ego especially when half of the crew bailed in fear. She died doing what gave her life meaning in the first place.

For a long time, I had always thought AE was alone when she went missing, until I watched this video and found out that she actually had a crew.

This is one of the very, very best of the Earhart-Noonan documentaries that I've seen. Rational suggestions, none of the "could it be...?" teasers, but a concise gathering of what-we-know facts with reasonable conjecture about possible outcomes.

I suspect Amelia's greatest difficulty was her unfamiliarity with the radio and it's operation. I think she may have been transmitting on one frequency and listening on another. Also, the fact that she thought she had to whistle into the microphone for the ship to get a bearing further proves it. She simply had to hold down the microphone button to transmit a carrier that the Itaska could have zeroed in on. Finally the lack of Morse code ability...in those days it was essential! It's a shame the radio operator decided to drop out of the mission....things would likely have had a much better outcome.

Great coverage. I had never heard Amelia Earhart’s last story so comprehensively.

Regarding the alleged window patch. The pattern of rivet holes on the metal panel turned out to match the upper wing skin of a C-47 -- significant because a C-47 crashed on Sydney Island in the Phoenix Group and aluminum from that C-47 crash was salvaged and used by the natives in the Phoenix islands.

When she ran out of fuel probably due to getting lost by travelling too far due to misnavigation and losing the comms expert. she crashed in such a vast ocean that it would take so much time and effort to find a small plane on the ocean bed. You would also need someone who is willing to put in millions to find just one plane, even an historic one like this. Nice video my man. Always interested in an unsolved mystery!

Great work. Your first videos were already really good, but you manage to improve with each time you upload. I really think you can make it on the plattform

Really good coverage. You’ve earned a new sub. Your firm grasp of aviation terminology and ability to communicate it to the general public is refreshing. As for Ms Earhart, as the PIC, she may have been suffering from what aviators refer to as “get-there-itis, ” and overlooked an avionics check that cost them the goal. Regardless, her tenacity left a priceless legacy. Clear skies and cheers.

Jeez why did it take so long for a good Doc to come out on this that didn't chalk it up to Aliens?
Great analysis, looks like really fuel and crew negligence concerns were the issue here, and is the easiest explanation as well.

Excellent summary.

One point I'd quibble over a bit: I'd like to see a little added context on the supposed radio signals possibly coming from Nikumaroro/Gardner Island. It's very well established that spurious, misinterpreted, misreported, or incorrectly attributed radio signals were common at the time, to an extent that a modern audience might not instinctively grasp. This phenomenon is especially heightened when people go looking for specific things, as our pattern-seeking brains find patterns that don't exist in junk data. It's entirely likely the signals attributed to Gardner Island were entirely unrelated to Amelia Earhart, or Gardner Island, for that matter.

The animations and content quality is definitely top tier, and I like that it sort of has a Lemmino style vibe that was saddly taken from our lives with little to no warning.

I Subbed a while back after the 2nd video was released. This channel is gonna blow soon and I'm glad to be apart of it.

Women are incredibly skilled and renowned for their spatial orientation and ability to navigate in high pressure situations. Everyone stuck in a Wal Mart parking lot during a snow storm with one will attest to this.

I think ego/pride played a huge role in the disappearance of Earhart and Noonan. Neither of them knew Morse Code and failed to learn it or hire someone new who knew it after the crew member who knew Morse Code bailed on her.

I believe that they either landed in the ocean after running out of fuel or landed on that island and the Coconut Crabs eventually got them.

Excellent production, but after 9 minutes I can't even watch it, it's too heartbreaking. I'm convinced you put the work in, and have earned the "like". RIP brave winged lady.

When I saw the thumbnail and video title, I thought LeMMino had returned, but this is just as good and will fill the void that his absence has left.
