Will using AWS in this challenge cost us something? Like for example we will be using S3 and CloudFront, will I be charged for this?

I struggled to change alternative domain name. Realised th CNAME we add needs to feature the domain name at the end, and an a record is also necessary to point that at the cloudfront distro...big day for me, but very satisfying!

can you post the unedited video? there were a few things that you didn't mention when setting up everything. I followed everything you said but some settings weren't acknowledged so I have messed up somewhere

Everything worked here, except one of my images in my S3 bucket will not display on my website through CloudFront. I already copied over the policy and the rest of the HTMl/CSS comes through, just not the image. Any idea what the issue is?

I'm having issues and wonder if anyone knows how to fix it. I am not able to see the site and I followed a suggestion of just uploading the html file on its own (everything else is in folders) and now I can see the site but ONLY HTML lol. Why isnt it seeing all the other files in my folders?

Hey Rishabh, so I bought a domain from Godaddy and then requested a certificate for my actual domain from ACM, I realized you used the wild card and then I requested one more certificate with my "resume.(my domain)", so after requesting it did not create any record in Route 53 by itself, so I thought of creating manually just like you did in the video at 11:18, but when I click the drop-down menu for Choose Distribution, it does not list me any of my CloudFront distribution. Even though I have it created and my portfolio is being run on it. Could you please guide me for this DNS and all other things, what should I do now?

Random question, if I'm doing this in my regular AWS account, am I going to incur any hefty fees?

I got the 403 denied error so instead of uploading the folder i just uploaded the html and css files to the bucket. I can now see the page no error

Hello Rishab. At 4:58, the video was cut. When I select Origin access control settings, I can't see a bucket policy. I'm getting "You must update the S3 bucket policy. CloudFront will provide you with the policy statement after creating the distribution.". Where can I get the policy?

Does anyone know when trying to add an A record, I can't point it to my distribution? It never shows up.

Hi Rishab, how long does it take for AWS certificate manager to issue the SSL certificate? Is it also required to create the CNAME records in Route 53 in order for the certificate to be issued?

Hey so, my website loads on chrome but when I try loading it on safari i get a 403 error saying:"Bad request. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner.
If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation. "
Any suggestions on what I can do I tried on my mobile safari as well same thing.
