'Thinking about Poland, I think of a continuum; about Chopin, Szymanowski, Komeda and Kilar,' said Alexandre Desplat during the gala "Scoring4Polański," opening the 9th Krakow Film Music Festival. Yesterday, the winner of an Oscar for the music for the film 'Grand Budapest Hotel' received the second Wojciech Kilar Award, established by the mayors of Krakow and Katowice. The ceremony was held at the seat of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
