I was about to buy 5700g, at the last moment I changed the plan and bought 8500g. That decision was golden. I didnt want the power buden of a dedicated GPU as I am not a hardcore gamer and my decision served me just right, the 740m is very good.

increase the vram alocation from 512MB to minimum 2Gb from bios

I have a R5 5600G and 16GB Dual Channel RAM, but why does it only accept up to 2GB VRAM even though I have adjusted it to 4GB and 8GB in the BIOS settings. The mobo being used is B550M Steel Legend

This is vega 7, a lot of playable games in this igpu.Lot better than Intel iris, go for Vega 7-10 if you on budget while you save up for a gpu

supposedly the vram is supposed to go up by demand, and the bios settings is just for setting a reserved size...but this vid clearly shows it never goes up by demand, its stuck at ~512mb
