I walked from Port Soller to Deia and back in early September 2022 and it was 34c, so yes still very hot this year in September. Thanks for your video.

Tip #4a: Avoid taking the tent, because it's not allowed. Many people do, but be aware, that most of the country you're walking on is private property and the owners think about closing the way. So be smart, use all the refugios on the way. And if you really don't care about future hikers, be as ninja as possible. Nobody wants your poo in the garden. 🙂 Nice tips btw.

Just booked my flights to do it in march 2023. Excited. I have 6 days to do it in before my flight home so hoping I can fit as much in as possible! Are there connections for the airport to port d'andrax and do you know any hostels on the route and where to book many thanks!

Great advice thank you. Wednesday I'll do the GR221 hike as well! A question, which part you would consider more beautiful? The first part until Sóller or from Sóller to Pollenca? I only have 7 days so the whole route would be too much unfortunately ..

Hi Simon, that's great information. It looks like you guys enjoyed the hike. Would you recommend hiking boots or trail runners ? Thanks for sharing your trip 👍

Hi. Just booked my flights partly based on this video so thank you so much. Two questions are walking boots and must or is it suitable for trail shoes? I know a lot of long-distance walks can easily be done in suitable trainers or trail shoes however I’ve hiked a bit in Crete in the white mountains and you definitely want walking boots. This is a slight personal preference thing value opinion.
Second question is did you use a camping stove? If so which kind of gas did you use as in which kind of gas is available. Most grateful.

How easy did you find it to book accomms along the trail? Was it often fully booked? I’m heading out next week, and will be bivvying mostly, but would like to know I can book a hostel last minute if I’m vibing it. Thanks for the vid!

is the 'Day 1 hill' the hill before or after Saint Elm? and without the guidebook, is there a way of recognising the correct route?

How many days did it take for you to complete the GR221 (140km)?

Don’t camp on this route. It’s a 3, 000 euro fine. People are constantly getting caught. Official government stance is campers aren’t quality tourists and are a major fire risk. You aren’t welcome. If you want to do this route, book accommodation well in advance, leave your tent at home and bring your wallet
