Years ago when I lived in Phoenix Arizona and I car pooled with a few coworkers. One day I was driving with two of my coworkers who happened to be Navajo and this song came on the radio and they got very excited. They told me that the man chanting is a Navajo medicine man singing part of the Blessing Way and that everyone who listens to this song receives healing even though it is just a fragment of the song sung during the Blessing Way ceremony. So everyone who listens to this song you have been blessed, may you find healing.

I remember hearing this song at 8 years old and felt it was more than just a piece of music, learning to sing along to the beautiful chanting lyrics without knowing what they meant, other than something that's helped me sleep very countless nights. Beautiful how singing is a language within itself, can be direct or interpreted in which ever way the listener desires, and yet still bring people together, under the universal emotion of feeling, understanding and unity. Lol I'm so glad I was the weird kid, excited to drag mom to the store to buy me Pure Moods, and very glad this masterpiece was on it.

Until these past few days, I only heard this song twice…..
1) the first was just after I had gotten back from the hospital from my spinal surgery back in November 1998. My mom had gotten me this CD as a get well gift. I had tuned most of it out since I was still drained, but recognized it from the commercial. But this song had really stood out. It kept singing like the guy was singing “Sunday” and how peaceful it is.
2) the second was in college fall 2001 semester. I had this one class called Mastering College Life. We had gone to the gym one day in November 2001 (exact date was 11/29/2001) did some Zen workout and listened to various pieces of music. One of which, was this song.
