Ok, hear me out - I think Dennis took this footage home to edit and record new solos over. There's almost no footage of him really playing, at any point there's a solo - especially a fast solo - he's framed without the guitar being visible or the footage is edited so it's unrelated to what we can hear, and I'm pretty sure a ton of shots are used more than once. Definitely feels like a vanity-edited project for Dennis' sake.
