How powerful is your passport?

Passports can tell you a lot about a country. Colour can be a statement of national identity, state religion, or international co-operation. But not all passports are equal.

I love the woman's closing statement: "A low ranking passport limits your choices, but not your sense of adventure." This honestly put a smile on my face :)

The music wasn't loud enough, I could hear some of the narration.

I love the italian passport's color, it's red but also kind of purple-ish, what a nice color

I appreciate the heartwarming and inspiring ending but visa limitations do for sure limit your sense of adventure. As a Peruvian passport holder my ability to just take trips impulsively even if I can afford it is severely limited.

The thing is, while the German passport is really powerful, we can’t get into some of the most powerful countries visa free; countries whose citizens can get into Germany itself visa free because of that Schengen area thing, which I think is quite unfair. Germans have to apply for a visa for e.g. Australia and the US (which are really attractive places for German tourists), but Australians and Americans can simply visit for a whoppin’ 90 days without having to go through that visa thing as well.

There are so many southeast asians and chinese smuggling into korea and claim themselves korean to acquire the passport. Shame.

If the colour of a passport is supposed to represent the country's national identity then the Canadian passport should be red, not blue.
